Vera is located in Almería a city of Andalusia, Spain. Vera offers 5 kilometres of sandy beaches and transparent waters, some of which get some prizes for its quality.
You can´t forget the marvellous weather of Almeria, with more than 300 days of sun per year.
Vera offers several monuments and activities, like churches, the "4 caños" Fountain and bullring.
Vera offers a wide gastronomy: Tortas de Avío, Gurullos con Conejo, Ajo Colorao, Guiso de Pelotas a la veratense, Olla de Trigo, are some of they typical dishes of the area.

It is the eastern-most town in the area known as the Axarquía and has an official population of around 20,000 — a fifth of which are foreign residents. The council have english representation, Emma Hall, (town councillor for expatriates).
Nerja has several fine beaches set in charming coves, and the beaches are less crowded than western area of Costa del Sol.
The properties in Axarquia area are cheaper than other ones on the Costa del Sol, and you can enjoy a more peaceful enviroment.
